Acute Urinary Retention

by Christian
(Sydney, NSW, Australia)

Step dad with Prostatitis is now on catheter as unable to urinate. Certain valve no longer opens. Has managed to decrease size of prostate with prostate massage but within about 2 hours of removing catheter valve closes up and he is again unable to urinate. Any hints or suggestions?

Ron here...

My experience is that in almost all cases a food or supplement or med like a decongestant can trigger a prostate reaction.

This is where diet must be optimized for such a sensitive person. It could be anything even the "healthiest of foods" like kale. The only way to know for sure is to personally test everything for bio-compatibility. I discuss all these issues in my books.

Diet is everything... personally test all inputs often to ensure they are positive. As reactions subside you should be able to do without a catheter.

Build up the gut with sauerkraut and raw milk yogurt if they test OK. Diatomaceous Earth can also be used if positive. Start with a half teaspoon.

The first goal is to start reducing the causes of the condition through good diet and health practices. Acute urinary retention is an allergic-like reaction. But it can be changed with a desire to heal and improve.

Thanks Ron,

I have purchased the book which I'm sure will be a great resource for me as well as my step father. It won't be long before I've been through it all but to save me some time (before he is called in for a recommended operation from urologist for which he has been waiting for months) in which section of the book is this covered. Doing a search for Urinary Retention brings only a few matches.

Thanks and regards,
Christian
