If Prostate is removed due to BPH, what are the side effects on the body or body systems functioning specifically on kidney or renal functioning- does the functioning of any system(s)is impaired or adversely affected?


Many men have had their prostate removed. Minimal effect on renal and kidney systems, but can impact sexual function. It can diminish ejaculate amount and if prostate erection nerves are damaged then can lead to erectile difficulties.

Removing the prostate for BPH may be very extreme.
