Prostate Pain

Hello,

I saw blood in my semen two-three years ago. It was present for weeks, then disappeared.

I have started to feel painful sensations in the prostate area, according to the charts. The pain is rather occasional. It goes away quickly.

Once or twice it felt like it extends to the upper part of my right thigh.

I wouldn't say I have any problems with urination.

Should I seek help from an urologist?

Thanks.

Ron here...

This is not an easy question to ask because pain or blood could be a sign of problems. The issue then gets complicated because of what the urologist will want to do.

Biopsy is where the problem comes in because that can worsen your condition. Please read more about that on the site or in my Healthy Prostate book.

You have time to educate yourself about all aspects of your health. I would use it to change to a very healthy lifestyle and optimum diet doing all you can to minimize any possible causes of prostate cancer or prostatitis.
