My bil has prostate cancer and has had many rounds of chemo treatments. He now has 70 lbs of fluid below his waist. Drs say due to a mass by his kidney that is preventing flow. Two weeks ago he had a stint put in supposedly to help and it is not. Could a castor oil pack help with this? If it were me I would try it but he leans on the MD side of the spectrum. I want to present it to him but want someone with the knowledge to give me their opinion

Ron here...

I am not a doctor and can't give medical advice.

His condition requires medical oversight. A castor oil pack may ease some symptoms, and would not be considered dangerous in my opinion.
