2 issues with self massage.

I have recently began exploring self prostate massage. Unfortunately I have been experiencing a couple issues that have hindered my enjoyment significantly. Firstly, in any of the recommended positions my wrist gets sore very quickly. I figure I might have to go with a prostate massager unless someone else has experienced this issue and has a solution. Secondly, I have a hard time getting over the sensation of having to poop constantly, even when I have recently had a bowel movement. Is this because I am just not used to the sensation? Any advice to overcome these hurdles would be greatly appreciated :)

A prostate massager is really the way to go. Much easier and better.

The rectal stimulation could make you feel like you need a BM, but just ignore that.
